We grow two types of annuals at ‘The Greenhouse’.  The first, and least expensive, are annuals that we grow from seed.  These are grown in biodegradable Kord fibre packs that are made from recycled paper.  We have found that we produce a higher quality plant when grown in breathable fibre as opposed to plastic.

Plants grown from cuttings are also produced at our greenhouse.  The cuttings are imported from greenhouses that have been licensed to produce newer hybridized varieties such as:

These cuttings are generally more vigorous than seed grown annuals, much more prolific bloomers and have improved growing habits.  They are patented and thus, cost more.

Below is a list of the annuals that we will be growing from seed this year.
