Sautéed Green Beans and Tomatoes

Sautéed Green Beans and Tomatoes

Yields: 2 servings

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 8 minutes

 

Ingredients:
 

2 tablespoons water

1 ½ cup green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

22 grape tomatoes

¼ teaspoon sea salt

A pinch of pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon dried thyme

 

Directions:
 

1.     Put the water and beans in a sauté pan over medium heat and cover. Cook for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.

2.     Uncover and add oil, tomatoes, herbs and spices to beans and combine well.

3.     Cook for another 3 minutes or until tomatoes soften and skins begin to wrinkle.
