Tomato Salad


Ingredients:

- fresh picked tomatoes sliced or cup in wedges

- olive oil

- balsamic vinegar

- salt and pepper

Directions:

Place cut tomatoes in bowl. Drizzle with a small amount of good quality olive oil. Add a few shakes of balsamic vinegar and lots of salt and pepper. Stir and serve immediately.

Tips and variations:

- Add chopped basil

- or mint

- or cilantro

- add crumbled feta cheese

- or goat cheese

- or Parmesan cheese

- Try some pitted kalamata olives

- or anchovies

- Throw in some green tomatoes

- and green onion

- Play with ingredients and have fun
