1 lb strawberries
1/2 tsp ground cardamon
3 tsp sugar, divided
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup roasted pistachios, pecans or almonds

Toss strawberries, cucumbers, cardamom, a pinch salt and 1 tsp sugar in a medium bowl and let sit 10 minutes to allow sugar to dissolve and flavours to blend.
Meanwhile, mix yogurt, lemon juice,remaining two tsp sugar, and a pinch salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Pulse nuts, cayenne, and a pinch salt in a food processor until nuts are finely ground (do not over process or you will end up with nut butter.
Divide fruit salad among plates and spoon reserved lemon yogurt over; sprinkle with seasoned nuts.
